Everest Spices is caught up in numerous frauds these days. A government official confirmed that certain Everest spice samples went through testing. It came out through investigation that the ethylene oxide in spices did not meet the demanding standards. It is to be improved, per request. The government carried out the test in reaction to the recall of MDH and Everest spice goods in Singapore and Hong Kong as they contained ethylene oxide (ETO).
According to the official, samples from both companies were gathered and sent for testing. MDH spices met each of the 18 criteria. Out of the 12 samples, certain Everest samples did not have any concerns. Our firm has requested that the business make adjustments. We want to make sure they follow the instructions. However, the letter addressed to Everest has not yet been replied.
The research indicates that distinct countries comply to various MRLs for ETO. The EU, for instance, has set a maximum of 0.02-0.1 mg per kg. Japan has put it at 0.01 mg per kg, while Singapore has set it at 50 mg. The samples were examined by the government using a 0.1 mg per kilogram basis.
