According to police sources, the incident occurred about 6 a.m. in front of Sumitra Hospital in Sector 30.

“Three persons were injured and two people were killed when a speeding BMW car crashed into an e-rickshaw carrying five passengers from the Noida City Centre metro station into the Sector 12-22 intersection in front of Sumitra Hospital in Sector 30,” a police official stated.

A speeding BMW crashed with an e-rickshaw in Noida’s Sector 24 area on Thursday morning, killing two persons and injuring three others, police said.

On Thursday morning, a speeding BMW hit an e-rickshaw in Noida’s Sector 24 district, killing two persons and badly injuring three others, according to authorities. The e-rickshaw, which was carrying five passengers, was hit from behind by a speeding BMW.

“This morning, at 6 a.m., an e-rickshaw was hit from behind by a BMW automobile near Sector 24 police station. Five persons got injured in the accident and sent to the hospital. Manish Mishra, a senior police official, told  that two persons had been declared died.

“The condition for the other three is stable. Two passengers in the BMW car have been arrested. Strict measures will be taken,” he said.

The victims have been known as as Mohammad Mustafa (50) and Rashmi, a 25-year-old staff nurse at Metro Hospital.

Meanwhile, police arrested two individuals in a BMW. Another suspect is still on the run, and investigations are on to catch him.
