A heartbreaking incidence involving the deaths of six persons from the same family has been reported in Uttar Pradesh’s Sitapur district. A man brutally murdered his mother, wife, and children. Following this, the accused shot himself and committed himself. An illegal weapon was found at the scene.

According to reports, Anurag Singh (45) shot his mother, Savitri (62) at 2.30 to 3 a.m., before shooting his wife, Priyanka Singh (40). Aside from that, he beat his wife in the head with a hammer, causing her to die. A hammer was also discovered lying near the wife.

Following this, daughter Asvi (12), Arna (8), and son Advik (4) were tossed off the rooftop. Then Anurag shot himself. Ajit Singh, deceased Anurag Singh’s brother, saved his own life by shutting himself in the room. He stated that a gunshot could be heard between 2.30 and 3 a.m. When he got out of his room, he discovered a horrible scene.

Anurag then fled to murder him, but Ajit Singh locked himself inside the room. If he hadn’t done so, Anurag would have also killed him. The shocking incident caused a stir throughout the village. A large crowd gathered at the location.

CO Mahmudabad Dinesh Shukla stated that the youth was a drug addict. The family intended to take him to a drug-free facility, and a disagreement arose throughout the night about this. Following this, this occurrence occurred. The bodies have been sent for a post-mortem. A large number of police officers have been sent to the scene.

According to Sitapur SSP Chakresh Mishra, Rampur police in Mathura received information today that a mentally ill man named Anurag Singh, 45, reportedly murdered five members of his family before shooting himself. Have committed murder. The police and FSL team are investigating. Legal action is being taken in all aspects.

He stated that an illegal weapon had been discovered at the scene. There are various forms of damage marks on different bodies. Only one member of this family has reported throwing it off the roof. We are looking into the problem. The bodies have been sent for a post-mortem. Will take additional action based on the findings. According to sources, an illegal 315 bore firearm was found near Anurag’s bed.
