Shyam Rangeela, a well-known comedian, will run against PM Modi from Varanasi. He has also given Prime Minister Modi an explanation of why he is running for office through a social media video.

Also, well-known comedian Shyam Rangeela will run in the Lok Sabha elections. He declared his intention to run against Prime Minister Narendra Modi as an independent from Varanasi in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.

In a social media video statement that He stated that he was traveling to Varanasi to respond to the PM in his own language.

Shyam Rangeela said in a video broadcast on social media, “One should get a response in one’s own language”. He stated that he was traveling to Varanasi to give the Prime Minister a “response in his own language.” I, comedian Shyam Rangeela, have come to speak with you on ‘Mann Ki Baat’. You’re all wondering if the story you’re hearing about Shyam Rangeela running for office in Varanasi is true. Is this a joke? Friends, this isn’t a joke… I am running against PM Modi from Varanasi.

In the video, what did Shyam Rangeela say ?

The 29-year-old comedian from Rajasthan went on to say in the video, “Friends, you must be wondering why Shyam Rangeela is contesting elections there.” He stated that anyone can run for election under India’s democracy. There is a reason why I am running in the elections.

The reason for this is that we have seen in the past what has happened in Surat, Chandigarh, and Indore. I doubt this will happen there as well. The lack of additional candidates should not occur.

Shyam Rangeela is terrified of this.

According to Shyam Rangeela, people have the right to vote against any politician. Someone’s name should appear on the EVM. He went on to say that he is scared they will only have one candidate from Varanasi to vote for. That is why I have decided to run for election from there.

Shyam Rangeela stated , I hope my voice can reach there. The people of Varanasi have shown me a lot of kindness. I’m quite delighted with the feedback I’ve received since declaring my candidacy. I plan to visit Varanasi shortly. I’m here to respond to Prime Minister Modi in his own language.

Attacked over electoral bonds

Shyam Rangeela, taking aim at Modi and the BJP over electoral bonds, stated, “I am excited to contest elections, but this is my first time.” I shall therefore require your support. I do not own an electoral bond and have not taken it from anyone. Then again, I’ll need some cash. Shyam Rangeela has also urged people to support and vote for him.

Let us tell you that famed comedian Shyam Rangeela joined the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and later opted to operate independently. The seventh phase of voting will take place in Varanasi on June 1. The results will be announced on June 4.
