Nitin Gadkari, a union minister and BJP politician, passed out during an electoral rally in Maharashtra’s Yavatmal district on Wednesday afternoon. A video spreading on social media shows the union minister dizzy and unconscious as he is dragged away by the people on stage. Some BJP officials can also be heard appealing for physicians.
Gadkari gave an update on his health shortly after the incident, stating that the heat of the rally had made him uncomfortable.
“I am now perfectly healthy and traveling for Varud to attend the next gathering. “Thank you for your love and good wishes,” he tweeted on X, formerly Twitter.

Gadkari, who ran as the BJP’s candidate for the Nagpur Lok Sabha seat in the first phase of voting, was campaigning in Yavatmal’s Pusad for Shiv Sena leader Rajashree Patil, who is led by Eknath Shinde.
In his remarks to the crowd, the union minister added, “I am confident that the people of Yavatmal district, which has a constant tendency towards development, will give victory to the BJP-Maha alliance, which believes in all-round development.”
Under the direction of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, substantial progress has been made in the past ten years in the fields of roads and highways, education, health, and other fields throughout the nation as the nation moves closer to being a developed nation. The central government has effectively expanded its programs into rural areas. As a result, in addition to the city, the people living in rural areas can also take advantage of numerous crucial facilities, the author stated in a post on X.
Yavatmal is one of the Maharashtra constituencies that will cast votes in the second phase of the Lok Sabha election on April 26, along with Buldhana, Akola, Amravati, Wardha, Hingoli, Nanded, and Parbhani.
