In the liquor policy case, BRS leader K Kavitha was placed under detention until April 15th before the CBI.

BRS leader K Kavitha was placed under arrest by the CBI until April 15th by a Delhi court on Friday in connection with a corruption case involving the Delhi excise policy 2021–2022.

Kavitha, the daughter of former Telangana chief minister K Chandrashekar Rao, was taken into custody by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Thursday and is currently being held in Tihar Jail.

The investigating agency requested five days of incarceration, telling Special Judge Kaveri Baweja’s court that Kavitha was not complying with the investigation and was evasive in her responses.
