In an old video, Twinkle Khanna joked about becoming a feminist and her views on males. Kangana Ranaut has responded to this.
On Wednesday, Kangana Ranaut harshly criticized Twinkle Khanna for a previous comment about men. Twinkle joked about becoming a feminist and her feelings toward guys during a December event. She even compared males to garbage bags, which Kangana obviously didn’t appreciate.
Kangana Ranaut strikes out against Twinkle
Kangana came down hard on Twinkle Khanna, calling her a privileged brat. She questioned the former actor’s feminism, saying, “What are these privileged brats who call their men polythene bags? Are they trying to be cool?” Nepo youngsters born with silver spoons, granted film careers on golden platters, could never do honor to that, but at the very least, they could find joy and fulfillment in the selflessness of motherhood, which also appears to be a curse in their case. What exactly do they want to be? Vegetables? Is that feminism?
What exactly did Twinkle Khanna say ?
Twinkle was asked in an earlier interview how she came to understand she was a feminist. Twinkle responded in a humorous way, claiming that her journey to realization was reversed. She stated that her mother, famous performer Dimple Kapadia, taught her as a child that women do not need males.
Twinkle had stated, “We never discussed feminism, equality, or anything. But it was obvious that there was no need for a male. It would be really lovely to have a man, just as you would have a nice handbag. “But even a plastic bag would suffice,” she explained. “So I grew up with that notion and for a long time I felt that there wasn’t much use for them.”
The Mela actor also claimed that men are inherently weaker than women. “They lose their hair and begin winding the four strands round and round on their heads. Fortunately, most women die 10-15 years before us. Twinkle remarked, “You have to feel a little sorry for them too.” “So I had to move backwards and admit that maybe we (women) aren’t superior, but rather equal. That has been my journey to feminism,” she said.
Twinkle’s profession
Akshay Kumar, an actor, is Twinkle’s husband. Aarav and Nitara, their two children, are shared. In 1995, Twinkle made her stage debut in Barsaat. She gave up acting after her final movie, Love Ke Liye Kuch Bhi Karega, came out in 2001. Twinkle began writing in 2015, and she published her first novel, Welcome To Paradise, the previous year.
