Suhani was invited by Aamir Khan to his daughter’s wedding.
She added that Suhani and her family had received an invitation from actor Aamir Khan to his daughter Ira Khan’s wedding in January 2024. But they had to pass on it because of Suhani’s condition. Suhani appeared in Aamir Khan’s 2016 film Dangal as a young Babita Phogat.
“Aamir Khan has always been in touch with her (Suhani),” Pooja remarked in Hindi. We had been so stressed ourselves that we hadn’t told him about her until now. He has always answered his messages quickly and given us a personal call. He and Suhani developed a strong relationship right away. We were all formally invited to his daughter Ira Khan’s recent wedding, and we received a call as well. However, Suhani’s fracture prevented us from leaving at that moment. We were therefore unable to travel.
Suhani’s father verified that she died of dermatomyositis, a rare inflammatory condition that produces skin rash and muscle paralysis. She also sustained a leg fracture many weeks ago and was admitted to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Delhi on February 7.
