Mission Raniganj, which was released on October 6, opened to merely Rs 2.8 crore; nevertheless, the collection increased throughout the weekend but remained largely low. The film grossed Rs 40.4 crore at the box office in India, with a nett collection of Rs 34.17 crore. Its worldwide gross collection during its theatrical release was only Rs 46 crore.

Concerning the film
