Mansoor Ali Khan has had a bad month, making headlines for all the wrong reasons. After apologizing to Trisha Krishnan for his disrespectful and disparaging words, the Leo actor revealed that he intends to sue actor-politician Khushbu Sundar, megastar Chiranjeevi, and Trisha for defamation.
According to reports, Mansoor Ali Khan said that the viral video that went viral was edited and doctored. He further accused Trisha, Chiranjeevi, and Khusbu of defaming him and upsetting public order for civil and criminal reasons for more than a week. Furthermore, the actor claimed innocence and stated that he will produce the original footage as well as additional proof against the three actors.
Last week, a video went viral in which Mansoor Ali Khan opened out about his challenges in the profession and how he missed out on sharing screen space with the Ponniyin Selvan actor. “When I heard I was acting with Trisha, I assumed there would be a bedroom scene in the film,” he remarked in the video. I expected to carry her to the bedroom, like I had done with numerous actresses in my previous films. I’ve done a lot of rape scenarios, so it’s nothing new to me. But these folks didn’t even show Trisha to me on the sets of the Kashmir filming.”
Several celebrities, including Chiranjeevi, Chinmayi Sripaada, Khushbu Sundar, and others, came out in favor of Trisha and condemned Khan’s remarks. Khan formally apologized to Trisha in response to the National Women’s Commission’s criticism and claims of sexual harassment.
