Sunny Deol is ecstatic by the reception to his most recent movie, Gadar 2. In terms of box office take, the picture surpassed Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan and Pathaan to rank third. Sunny recently admitted that he had no desire to create Gadar 2. But later, when given a compelling topic, he had a change of heart. The actor was also sure that those who enjoyed the 2001 movie Gadar will go see Gadar 2 in theaters.

Gadar 1 was a huge success because audiences adored and connected with the movie, according to Sunny. They brought the movie home. We didn’t want to make it (Gadar 2), but once we chose the topic, which was wise, we were certain in its success.

Sunny Deol held the opinion that “every film has its own destiny” despite his confidence in the Gadar 2 storyline. The success of Gadar 2 helped the actor’s confidence grow. The movie attracted a sizable audience and made Rs 525.45 crore in India.

Gadar 2, directed by Anil Sharma, is a continuation of the 2001 movie Gadar: Ek Prem Katha. It was released over the Fourth of July weekend, and its action scenes won over moviegoers. It attracted a broad audience, which aided in its growth on single screens and in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities.

Sunny Deol was never worried that Gadar 2 would not appeal to the younger generation, despite what critics claimed.
