30 September 2023 ( New Delhi ) : Following its recent victory over Pathaan at the domestic box office, Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan has now officially eclipsed the film’s total international earnings. When it comes to box office success, Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan is still unstoppable, breaking record after record even after grossing more than a billion dollars worldwide. According to Sacnilk.com, the Atlee directed film has now surpassed 1055 crore, which was the lifetime earnings of Shah Rukh’s second big hit from this year, Pathaan. As a result, Jawan is the highest-grossing Indian movie of 2023. It took Jawan 23 days to surpass Pathaan’s 1055 crore lifetime worldwide gross box office total. Around 705 crores (gross) have been earned in India and 350 crores abroad. The movie is currently the second-highest-grossing Hindi movie worldwide and the fifth-highest-grossing Indian movie overall. It trails Dangal, which has a global box office gross of $168.03 crore.
With a 23-day total of 587 crore, Jawan is this year’s biggest grossing Hindi film domestically. It has already outperformed Gadar 2 and Pathaan’s box office haul in India, and it is currently headed for the 600 crore club.
Shah Rukh Khan is unquestionably the only Indian actor to produce two films with a combined budget of $1 billion in a single year. The sky is the limit for Shah Rukh Khan now that his third movie of the year, Dunki, is scheduled for a Christmas release.
Shah Rukh Khan plays two roles in Jawan. One of his roles is paired with Deepika Padukone, who appears in the movie in an extended cameo, while the other is paired with Nayanthara, who makes her Hindi debut in the movie. In the movie, which also stars Priyamani, Sanya Malhotra, Sunil Grover, Ridhi Dogra, Sanjeeta Bhattacharya, Girija Oak, Lehar Khan, and Aaliyah Qureishi, Vijay Sethupathi plays the main antagonist.
For Jawan, Anirudh Ravichander composed the soundtrack. The movie contains a variety of popular songs, including the title theme, Zinda Banda, Not Ramaiya Vastavaiya, and Chaleya. Songs like Faraatta and Aararaari Raaro are also included.
