24 September 2023 ( New Delhi ) : Several images from Parineeti Chopra and AAP leader Raghav Chadha’s idyllic wedding in Udaipur have finally been made public.
The actress expressed her gratitude for finally becoming “Mr. and Mrs.” A day after her wedding on Sunday, Parineeti released a number of images from their jai mala and pheras on Instagram. Raghav is written on her ‘ghoonghat’ in a photograph. “Our hearts knew from the very first chat at the breakfast table,” the photographs’ captions read. I’ve been looking forward to this day for a while. I feel very blessed to have married my love! They couldn’t have survived without one another. Our forever starts right now. At the Leela Palace in this city, the great celebration was held on September 24 in the presence of close friends and family. On Sunday, the jai mala and pheras took place about 4:30 pm.
Among the other guests at the wedding were Sania Mirza, Arvind Kejriwal, the Chief Minister of Delhi, Bhagwant Mann, the Chief Minister of Punjab, and Harbhajan Singh.
The wedding was ivory-themed, and the attendees were observed wearing similar attire. The song “Dilwale Dhulhaniya Le Jayengey,” featuring Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol, was played during the vidaai.
Raghav was fashioned in the same color as the wedding’s theme by his maternal uncle, fashion designer Pawan Sachdeva, while Parineeti donned a pearl white suit by Manish Malhotra.
Yesterday, the wedding celebrations were held at the Leela Palace Hotel in Udaipur. After Raghav’s sehrabandi at Lake Palace, the baaraat departed in curtained boats towards the wedding location. The pheras came next, then the vidaai, and finally a jaimala.
The pre-wedding rituals included haldi, mehendi, and a sangeet with a 90s theme and live performances by vocalist Navraj Hans. A Sufi night and an ardas were hosted in New Delhi the previous week.
In May, Raghav Chadha and Parineeti Chopra got engaged. To attend, Priyanka took a flight from Los Angeles. Mission Raniganj, in which Parineeti Chopra will star alongside Akshay Kumar, is her upcoming film after her appearance in Uunchai. She will also appear with Diljit Dosanjh in Amar Singh Chamkila.
