15 September 2023 ( New Delhi ) : Himanta Biswa Sarma, the chief minister of Assam, claimed on Friday that the opposition is opposed to “Sanatan Dharma” and that the 2024 Lok Sabha election will be a battle for civilization. Sarma claimed that the newly created opposition front ‘INDIA’ had as its goal the eradication of the nation’s civilization and culture. “The goal of the opposition’s alliance is to work against ‘Satan,'”The battle for civilization will take place during the forthcoming Lok Sabha election. After arriving in Bihar on Friday to attend the “Vaishali Festival of Democracy” at the Nalanda University, Sarma informed reporters that “people of India will keep Sanatan protected.”
Following DMK leader Udhayanidhi Stalin’s appeal for the abolition of “Sanatan,” which he described as divisive and discriminatory, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has capitalized on the situation. The Indian government, according to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, wants to destroy Sanatan Dharma and wipe Bharat along with its tens of thousands of years of culture. This attack came on Thursday in the election-bound state of Chhattisgarh.
At a “Vijay Sankhnad” rally at Kondatarai village in Chhattisgarh’s Raigarh district, Prime Minister Modi urged the populace to be on the lookout for them. “I want to alert you to a plot against our faith and the nation that is being planned. People who you have kept out of positions of power for the past nine years (at the Centre) and who consistently lose elections are now so enraged by you that they are attacking your “identity and your culture,” the speaker claimed. “These people seek to destroy the long-standing culture that has flourished in India due to their desire for power. Lord Ram refers to Shabari as his mother in Sanatan tradition, and he enjoys eating her half-eaten ber (juthe ber),” claimed Modi, the BJP’s leading candidate.
