According to the corporation, the decision to rebrand the service was made after a lengthy discovery and research process.
On Wednesday, Blue Dart Express Limited made the announcement that its Dart Plus service will now be known as “Bharat Dart.” The company’s decision coincides with rumors that the government may change the name of the nation from “India” to “Bharat.”
The logistics company with its headquarters in Mumbai announced the name in an exchange filing.
The newly redesigned service, formerly known as Dart Plus, was presented as Bharat Dart by Blue Dart Express Limited, South Asia’s leading express aviation and integrated transportation & distribution logistics organization. This strategic transition is an important turning point in Blue Dart’s journey and highlights its steadfast dedication to meeting the various demands of Bharat, according to the filing.
“The decision to rebrand this service stems from an extensive discovery and research process aimed at aligning itself to the evolving needs of its customers,” it continued.
‘Time-sensitive delivery backed by speed, security, and handling with value-added features, and perks including complete visibility on the last mile through a strong system and easy payment alternatives,’ claims Blue Dart of Bharat Dart.
The ‘India vs Bharat’ debate
In the lead-up to and during last week’s G20 Summit in New Delhi, the word “Bharat” rather than “India” was frequently used, which sparked rumors of a potential name change. The government hasn’t confirmed or denied anything on its end. If the renaming takes place, it will probably be announced during the spontaneous “special session” of Parliament, which will take place from September 18 to 22 and whose agenda has not yet been made public.
The country is described in the Constitution as both “India” and “Bharat.” Despite the fact that both terms are interchangeable, “India”—the official name of the nation—is used in formal communications.
