Kriti Sanon received a National Film Award for her performance in Mimi (2021). The plot revolves around a young woman who agrees to be a surrogate mother for a foreign couple.
Kriti Sanon went to the Siddhivinayak Temple in Mumbai on Saturday morning after winning her first National Film Awards. A paparazzo account published videos of the actor at the temple on Instagram. Kriti wore a yellow kurti with matching palazzo and dupatta to her temple visit. Nupur was likewise dressed in ethnic attire. Kriti offered sweets to the photographers after praying at the shrine. Outside the shrine, she also posed for photos with numerous children.
Kriti was seen in the video linking her hands and thanking the photographers. She also waved to them before entering her automobile. Several ladies and children, however, stood beside her car, asking for money. Kriti summoned a person and handed him money, instructing him to purchase something close.

Kriti recently said in an interview with News18 that she had spoken to Alia Bhatt following their shared National Film Awards. “I’ve always admired Alia as an actor, and she was fantastic in Gangubai Kathiawadi,” she declared. It makes me proud to share this honor with her because we both played the lead in our respective films. When I called her, we were both simply too excited. Alia Bhatt, who won the prize for Gangubai Kathiawadi, and Kriti share the national honor.

“My excitement was doubled when I saw Pankaj ji had won for Mimi,” she remarked of Pankaj Tripathi, who also won the National Award for Best Supporting Actor for Mimi. I called him and we talked…I have a lot of respect for him. He’s one of my most favourite co-stars and I truly always wish and pray for the best for him.
