14 August 2023 ( New Delhi ) : Following the deaths of a father-son team in Chennai, Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu MK Stalin gave pupils the assurance that the entrance exam will be abolished. He likewise urged them to approach life with assurance. The Tamil Nadu Chief Minister promised students on Monday that the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) will be abolished, days after a 19-year-old MBBS candidate from Chennai took his own life after failing to get a place in the exam. He also urged them to approach life with confidence rather than harboring any suicidal thoughts.
“I make the appeal that under no circumstances should a student ever decide to end their own lives. The NEET, a roadblock to your development, will be eliminated. According to Stalin’s comment, the state government is actively working on the legal effort in this direction.
He also urged NEET candidates to embrace life with confidence rather than harboring suicidal thoughts. When a political shift occurs in a few months, according to Stalin, the hurdles for NEETs will crumble.
When criticizing the anti-NEET bill in Tamil Nadu, Governor RN Ravi remarked, “Then, all those who say ‘I will not sign’ will disappear,”
