PM Modi Pune Visit : On August 1, at 11 am, PM Modi will arrive in Pune. At 11.45 am, he will do puja at the Dagdusheth Ganpati Mandir.

During his visit to Pune, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will not only inaugurate two Metro Rail sections but also the waste-to-energy facility run by the Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) and give over 1,280 residences built under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY). On August 1, PM Modi will fly into Pune at 11 am and do puja at the Dagdusheth Ganpati Mandir at 11.45 am.

Due to PM Modi’s visit, certain schools and institutions in Peth have decided to remain closed, while others have announced online classes in consideration of traffic, road closures, and security measures. School administrations reported that they had not received clear instructions from district administration on whether to declare a vacation. However, students and their parents have been asked not to attend the campus.

For Modi’s visit, a security detail of over 5,000 soldiers and officers, including Maharashtra’s elite Force One anti-terror commandos, has been placed in a position. From July 30 to August 2, the Pune municipal police issued prohibitory orders. Police have declared a restriction on the use of drones for video filming, as well as the closure of major city important routes and traffic crossings.
