The Manipur Police have arrested another suspect in connection with a viral video that went viral on Wednesday, showing two women paraded naked and sexually attacked by a mob in strife-torn Manipur.

Four suspects who had been detained on Thursday in connection with the crime were placed in 11-day police custody on Friday.

The social media video, which depicted two women being paraded naked and assaulted in Manipur’s Kangpokpi, has caused widespread indignation around the nation and in Parliament during the current monsoon session.
