In Lucknow’s Alambagh police station, a railroad colony is where the incident happened.
In the Anand Naga neighborhood of Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, a house collapsed, killing at least five members of a family, according to the police on Saturday. The crime allegedly occurred in a Lucknow railroad colony that is within the jurisdiction of the Alambagh police station.
“We learned that five people were hurt when a house collapsed in the railway colony in Lucknow’s Anand Nagar neighborhood, which is a part of the Alambagh police station district. Doctors at the hospital later pronounced them dead, according to Mr. Upendra Kumar Aggarwal, Joint DCP, Law and Order, Lucknow.
The occurrence happened this morning. The home belonged to a retired railroad worker who was residing there with her family, the Joint DCP continued.
The joint DCP continued by stating that the colony had been abandoned by the Railways Department and that the residence had received a notice to leave from the railroad.
However, the cause of the collapse has not yet been determined.
The Lucknow District Magistrate arrived at the scene in the meantime and assessed the circumstances.
It is tragic that this happened. In a home in the Railways Colony, five members of a family were staying there. They perished as the house suddenly fell. The authorities are on the scene. District Magistrate (DM) of Lucknow Mr. Surpal Gangwar stated, “We are talking about this with the Railways officials and also investigating the neighboring homes.
The DM also stated that Yogi Adityanath, the chief minister of Uttar Pradesh, was aware of the situation and had directed the authorities to assist the villagers in any way they could.
