South superstar Junior NTR’s pan-India film ‘Devra Part One’ was released in theaters on September 27, and it was favorably appreciated by audiences. However, the film’s box office earnings steadily fell over time. At the same time, Junior NTR has revealed some interesting details regarding the film’s second installment, ‘Devra Part Two’.
In a recent interview, star Jr NTR provided an update on the highly anticipated ‘Devra’ sequel, revealing that some parts of ‘Devra Part 2’ have already been shot. In a video posted by the ‘Devra’ crew, Jr NTR is seen explaining that, while some scenes have already been shot, the team is adopting a more careful approach to guarantee that the second half fulfills expectations.
In the video, Jr NTR stated, “We shot some sequences, but now the responsibility is on us because the first part is doing well.” We will spend more work on the second portion to make it bigger and better, as well as to excite the audience further. We’ll write it, and I just want my director, Koratala Siva, to take a month off.’
The actor also encouraged the director to take a break to regroup and return with new ideas. Jr NTR stated, “I told the director you know what? This is my gift. I said I would send you away from Hyderabad. Go for a month and a half, have fun, and don’t worry about anything. Come back, and we shall resume writing for ‘Devara 2′.’
The production of Devraa has received a lot of attention, and fans are looking forward to its sequel, which will be even more stunning. Janhvi Kapoor stars as the lead in Devraa, with Jr NTR, and Saif Ali Khan portrays the villain. Devraa Part 1 is Jr NTR’s first solo release in six years, following 2018’s Aravinda Sametha Veera Raghava. Before Devraa, he appeared in SS Rajamouli’s RRR in 2022, opposite ‘Ram Charan’.
