Prime Minister Narendra Modi is visiting Maharashtra on Saturday. During this time, he officially launched and laid the groundwork for various ventures. He also released Rs 20,000 crore as the 18th installment of the ‘PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi’ into the accounts of about 9.4 crore farmers. Earlier, PM Modi visited Washington. He performed prayers at the Jagadamba Mata Temple in Poharadevi. He also paid his respects at the samadhis of Sant Sewalal Maharaj and Sant Ramrao Maharaj.

Following this, the Prime Minister opened the Banjara legacy Museum, which honors the Banjara community’s rich legacy. He then announced many agricultural and animal husbandry initiatives totaling approximately Rs 23,300 crore. After that, PM Modi will inaugurate and lay the groundwork for different development projects worth more than Rs 32,800 crore in Thane at around 4 p.m. He would also recognize the beneficiaries of the Chief Minister Majhi Ladki Behen Yojana.

Following that, PM Modi will flag off the metro train traveling from BKC to Aarey JVLR in Mumbai at roughly 6 p.m. He will also take the metro between BKC and Santacruz stations.

We will provide a gift to farmers

According to the PMO, the Prime Minister will distribute the 18th installment of PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi, totaling almost Rs 20,000 crore, to approximately 9.4 crore farmers. With this, the total cash released to farmers under Samman Nidhi will be approximately Rs 3.45 lakh crore.

The Prime Minister will also launch the fifth installment of the ‘Namo Shetkari Mahasamman Nidhi Yojana’. This will result in a release of approximately Rs 2,000 crore.

PM Modi will dedicate more than 7,500 projects worth over Rs 1,920 crore to the nation through the Agriculture Infrastructure Fund (AIF). These include ‘custom hiring centres’, primary processing units, warehouses, sorting and grading units, ‘cold storage’ projects, and post-harvest management projects.

The Prime Minister will also dedicate 9,200 Farmer Producer Organisations (FPOs) to the nation, with a total turnover of over Rs 1,300 crore.

Aside from that, the Prime Minister will unveil an integrated ‘genomic chip’ designed for cattle and indigenous’sex-sorted semen technology’. Its goal is to enhance the availability of’sex-sorted semen’ to farmers at a reasonable price, lowering the cost by approximately Rs 200 per dosage.

Modi will also dedicate five solar projects in Maharashtra with a combined capacity of 19 MW under the Mukhyamantri Saur Krishi Vahini Yojana-2.0.

We will give Maharashtra a gift of crores

Here, the Prime Minister will inaugurate and lay the groundwork for important metro and road developments. He will open the BKC to Aarey JVLR portion of Mumbai Metro Line-3, which would cost approximately Rs 14,120 crore. This segment will include ten stations, nine of which will be underground.

The Prime Minister will lay the groundwork for the ‘Thane Integral Ring Metro Rail Project’, which would cost approximately Rs 12,200 crore. The project’s entire length is 29 kilometers, including 20 ‘elevated’ and two underground stations.

The Prime Minister will also lay the groundwork for the ‘Elevated Eastern Freeway Extension’, which will cost approximately Rs 3,310 crore and stretch from Chheda Nagar to Anand Nagar in Thane.

The Prime Minister will lay the groundwork for Phase I of the Navi Mumbai Airport Influence Notified Area (NAINA) project, which would cost approximately Rs 2,550 crore. The project involves the development of key arterial highways, bridges, flyovers, underpasses, and integrated utility infrastructure.

The Prime Minister will also lay the foundation stone for Thane Municipal Corporation, which will cost approximately Rs 700 crore to build.
