Noida, October 3, 2024 – Shri Ram Lakhan Dharmik Leela Committee, Noida, has officially announced the grand celebration of the annual Ramleela Mahotsav to be held at Ramleela Ground, Sector 46, from October 3 to October 13, 2024. The event will bring to life the epic tale of Lord Ram with captivating performances, cultural festivities, and community participation.
In a press conference organized at the Ramleela Ground, the committee members revealed exciting details about the event. According to Shri Ram Lakhan Dharmik Leela Committee’s president, Mr. Vipin Agarwal, the Ramleela enactment will be performed by the renowned theatrical troupe Shri Parivar Raghuvanshi Sanskritik Manch, led by Pandit Krishna Swami and his group of accomplished artists from Muradabad.
Event Highlights
The stage setup for Ramleela will be divided into two parts. The first section will be a 105 feet long, 8 feet wide, and 18 feet high stage, while the second stage will be 140 feet long, 40 feet wide, and 6 feet high. These grand stages are designed to provide the perfect backdrop for the dramatic retelling of Ramayana, from the birth of Lord Ram to the final victory of good over evil.
The Ram Baraat, a significant procession in the Ramleela tradition, is scheduled for Monday, October 7, starting at 4:00 PM from the Ramleela Ground and traveling through the streets of Sector 46 before returning to the ground by 7:00 PM. Following the procession, the evening will feature a Dandiya Night celebration, organized in collaboration with Rotary Club, Delhi Mayur Vihar.
Security Arrangements
For the safety of all attendees, around 50 CCTV cameras will be installed around the ground. In addition, 40 security guards and 10 gunners will be present to ensure the event is smooth and secure. The organizing committee will also be closely monitoring the event.
