Junior NTR’s forthcoming flick ‘Devra’ is now causing a lot of buzz. Fans are looking forward to seeing the romantic paring of Junior NTR and Janhvi Kapoor for the first time in this film. This film, directed by Koratala Siva, is set to release on September 27. The advance booking of the film is also moving quickly, and fans are confirming their seats for the first show on the first day. However, the mania of ‘Devra’ appears to be catching on with the crowd throughout the pre booking process.
According to industry tracker Sakanilak, ‘Devraa’ would have a worldwide opening of more than Rs 100 crore. As of Tuesday, the film’s pre-sales in India had exceeded Rs 28 crore, while global advance booking sales were about Rs 50 crore. So far, the film has sold 6,50,118 tickets across six thousand presentations. More concerts will be added in Hindi over the next two days, after which full booking will begin on Wednesday.
The Telugu version of the film is performing the best, with sales exceeding 90%. ‘Devara’ has already grossed Rs 28 crore in India and is anticipated to earn more than Rs 100 crore globally by Friday. However, if the picture receives a great reception from the audience, ‘Devara’ could have an even bigger debut.
This will be Jr NTR’s next release following the success of SS Rajamouli’s ‘RRR’. Aside from this, the actor will make his Bollywood debut in ‘War 2’, co-starring with Hrithik Roshan.
The film is part of Yash Raj Films’ espionage world, which includes Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathan, Salman Khan’s Tiger franchise, and the upcoming Alia Bhatt-Sharvari feature ‘Alpha’.
