Kangana Ranaut, an actress and politician, has received approval from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) to distribute her upcoming film, “Emergency.” But Kangana makes a different statement in her post. The actress revealed her thoughts on the rumours in a post that she shared on X on Friday. She made it plain in a video she posted on X that the CBFC had not given its approval for her forthcoming movie.

Kangana Ranaut stated in a video that the censor board members are getting death threats because of certain movie scenes. The actress refuted claims circulating that her film Emergency had received approval from the censor board. Our movie was actually originally authorised, but the censor board members’ getting death threats caused the certification to be halted.

“We are being pressured to remove certain scenes, like the assassination of Indira Gandhi, the Punjab riots, and many more,” Kangana Ranaut continued in her statement. I have no more to show at this point. What ought we to do. Should these scenes be cut to black in the movie? I find this really incredible, and I really regret the way this nation is currently thinking.

After demands for the ban of Kangana Ranaut’s “Emergency” were made, controversy broke out. Telangana is likely to outlaw the movie because, according to a delegation of eighteen Sikh Society members led by former IPS officer Tejdeep Kaur Menon, the movie depicts the Sikh community as terrorists and anti-nationals.

Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy has informed Sikh community leaders that the state government will consider prohibiting the distribution of Kangana Ranaut’s upcoming film “Emergency” while legal advice is obtained, according to government advisor Mohammed Ali Shabbir. In the film, which opens on September 6, Kangana Ranaut, a BJP MP from Mandi, Himachal Pradesh, portrays former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi.
