Amritsar Crime News: Around 7 am in Amritsar’s Dabuji village, two accused entered the house of NRI Sukhchain Singh and shot him twice. Sukhchain Singh’s condition remains critical.
In Amritsar’s Dabuji hamlet, a violent attack on an NRI has been reported. Two suspects entered the house at 7 a.m. on Saturday and opened fire on NRI Sukhchain Singh in front of his elderly mother and children. Sukhchain has been wounded by two bullets, and his condition is critical.
Throughout this time, the innocent youngsters repeatedly folded their hands in front of the attackers. The entire incident was recorded on CCTV. The injured NRI had only returned from America a month ago.
The accused requested for the car’s documentation.
The research indicates that on Saturday morning, NRI Sukhchain Singh was at his residence. The defendant arrived by bicycle. Sukhchain Singh objected when they asked him to produce the car’s paperwork. The accused then pulled out a revolver and shot him.
Sukhchain Singh was hurt and was taken to the hospital by family members; his condition is still critical. ADCP Harpal Singh arrived at the scene and began an investigation as soon as he was informed about the occurrence. The CCTV set up outside the house makes the accused’s faces quite obvious.
In this matter, DGP Gaurav Yadav has asked the Amritsar Police Commissioner to take severe action. Special DGP Rajendra Dhoke has also been assigned responsibility for the probe. Rajendra Dhoke will travel to Amritsar this evening.
The first wife killed herself.
Sukhchain Singh’s wife had committed suicide, according to ADCP Harpal Singh. There’s a disagreement between him and his in-laws about this. Sukhchain Singh had also received death threats approximately five months prior.
