There have been 13 arrests by the police thus far. Six persons have been placed under arrest by the Excise Department for crimes related to liquor stock. Following the license revocation by the Excise Department, the bar was sealed.
In the Pune bar case in Maharashtra, three persons, including a citizen of Nigeria, have been taken into custody. In fact, a bar on Pune’s Ferguson College Road was the scene of several related to drugs sightings recently. Pune Police didn’t take action until after the incident’s video went viral. Two persons who were observed smuggling drugs into Pune’s Liquid Leisure Lounge (L3) bar were identified by the police in this video.
Nitin Thombre and Karan Mishra have been named as the two suspects. Mephedrone, a substance that accused Nitin Thombre and Karan Mishra used at L3 bar, was provided by one of the three arrested suspects. “The two others who were arrested, including a Nigerian national, had supplied drugs to the third accused,” stated Deputy Commissioner of Police Sandeep Singh Gill. We found seven grams of mephedrone powder and 700 rupees worth of cocaine. The three were presented in court after being taken into detention under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act.”
In this case, 13 persons have been taken into custody by the police. Six persons have been put under arrest by the Excise Department for offenses related to liquor stock. Following the license rejection by the Excise Department, the bar was sealed.
