The strategically significant Sir Creek region of Gujarat is seeing a steady rise in Pakistani Marine activity. The Border Security Force (BSF), which is stationed here, has also increased its level of awareness over Pakistan’s actions. Pakistan Marines have allegedly begun reinforcing their position at Sir Creek, according to military sources. The Indian Navy and the BSF will collaborate in this domain as a result. To bolster the BSF’s standing in this region, the Indian Navy plans to train BSF men as Marine Commandos.

This instruction will be provided at Chennai-based Southern Naval Command. There are plans to train six such BSF battalions in the near future.
