The Supreme Court reiterated during the hearing that it will not halt NEET-UG 2024 counseling. The judge ruled that the therapy would go on. We’re not going to stop it. There is nothing to worry about because everything will go as to plan if the exam is held.
On Thursday, the issue was heard by the Supreme Court once more in the midst of the going on controversy surrounding the NEET exam. During this time, the Center informed the Supreme Court that the National Testing Agency’s (NTA) decision to grant grace marks to 1,563 NEET-UG 2024 students had been rescinded. Candidates in this group will have the opportunity to retake the exam on June 23. Results are anticipated by June 30. Admissions counseling for MBBS, BDS, and other programs will begin on July 6. Students will now be able to choose whether to retake the exam or take part in counseling without getting any grace points in such a scenario. The government-NTA informed the Supreme Court that over 1,563 candidates had their results reviewed by a panel tasked with examining the “grace marks” awarded to make up for the loss experienced in their NEET-UG appearance. The committee has made the decision to remove the grace marks from the scorecards of 1,563 NEET-UG 2024 candidates. There will be a chance for these students to retake the exam. On June 23, the tests will take place, and on or before June 30, the results will be announced. The NTA claimed before the Supreme Court that the re-examination of 1563 students will likely take place on June 23 and that they will be notified of it today.
