Modi 3.0 First Cabinet; Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s NDA government has convened its first cabinet meeting of the third term. All Union Ministers, including Amit Shah, Rajnath Singh, Shivraj Singh Chauhan, and HD Kumaraswamy, attended the meeting.
During Modi Government 3.0’s first cabinet meeting, a major news regarding the housing plan was made. The cabinet has approved the construction of three crore dwellings through the PM Housing Scheme. All of the houses constructed under the program will have LPG and electrical connections. The residences will be built in both rural and urban regions. The Union Cabinet resolved today to provide support to three crore more rural and urban families for house development through PM Housing. This will satisfy the housing needs resulting from the increased number of eligible families.
In the recent decade, 4.21 crore dwellings have been created under the housing project.
Since 2015-16, the Indian government has been executing the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, which helps qualified rural and urban families build residences with essential amenities. In the last ten years, PMAY has completed 4.21 crore residences for eligible poor people through housing initiatives. All PMAY-built residences are equipped with other essential utilities such as a household toilet, LPG connection, electricity connection, functional household tap connection, and so on through other Central and State Government projects.
The first cabinet meeting of the third term of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s NDA government began. All Union Cabinet Ministers, including Amit Shah, Rajnath Singh, Shivraj Singh Chauhan, and HD Kumaraswamy, were present at the meeting held at the Prime Minister’s residence.
On Monday, before the cabinet meeting began, Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the PMO personnel. He stated that in the coming years, we must work beyond global standards. He stated that we must take our country to places that no one has previously been. Meanwhile, the Modi government’s newly nominated ministers remain in suspense regarding the division of departments. After the first cabinet meeting, a statement on the assignment of departments among ministers is likely by late evening.
