The automotive manufacturing industry is evolving. While factories have always included robots, a new breed of more advanced and intelligent devices is beginning to appear. Dongfeng Liuzhou Motor, a division of Dongfeng Motors, is leading this trend with the introduction of an Ubtech Technology humanoid robot in China.
The Walker S, a new product from Ubtech, has been displayed at Dongfeng Motors’ facility. This humanoid robot features 41 high-performance servo joints and is 5 feet 7 inches tall. It also has a variety of advanced sensors, including as hearing, vision, and perception.
Walker S, a product from Ubtech, mimics people. According to the business, robots with humanoids won’t replace people completely just yet. Rather, it will carry out a number of duties, including as monitoring seat belts, testing door locks, assessing body work quality, and even refilling and labelling.
Walker S can traverse its surroundings and carry out complex production scenarios by communicating with humans as well as other automated gear. Furthermore, “fusion control algorithms” have the ability of data transfer and real-time communication with the central systems of the plant.
Dongfeng Liuzhou Motor’s general manager, Lin Changbo, claims that the Walker S will be smoothly integrated with the latest artificial intelligence technology to function within the company’s “smart” facility. He stresses that in order for the robot to perform ever-more-complex duties, it will require significant training.
Walker S can interact with other automated devices and individuals to navigate its surroundings and do complex production tasks. Moreover, “fusion control algorithms” may interact in real time and transfer data with the plant’s central systems.
According to Lin Changbo, general manager of Dongfeng Liuzhou Motor, the Walker S will work smoothly with the newest artificial intelligence (AI) systems for use in the company’s “smart” manufacturing facility. He stresses that the robot will need thorough instruction in order to do ever-more-complex tasks.
