According to the official of the Ramakrishna Mission, some miscreants have damaged our ashram, which is located in West Bengal’s Jalpaiguri area. Our monks and other staff members have been threatened with guns by the miscreants, who demand them to leave. This is all the work of the local land mafia.
Around 10 armed young people attacked our ashram at 3:00 in the morning, according to a mission official. They proceeded directly to the ground floor. Eight persons, including our senior monks, were threatened with guns to leave the property. They damaged the property. They broke our CCTV cameras as well. He secured the gate behind him as he left. Upon hearing of this, the police broke the lock and rescued the stuck individuals. He went on to say that this is a property issue. Our monks once complained to the Bhaktinagar police station about the nearby bully and his friends. The police have pledged to provide them with security and have begun an inquiry. We fully trust the police and have full faith.
