4 August 2023 ( New Delhi ) : A heart-wrenching news is coming out from Noida Sector 137 where a woman died in the lift.Sushila Devi was alone in the lift, which did not hit the ground but was trapped between some of the middle floors of the building before getting stuck on the 25th floor, she said about the incident which took place in the high-rise society at around 4.30 pm. Hui. It is located in Sector 137.According to police, the woman who was injured in the incident was rushed to a nearby hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries.
Noida police have registered an FIR against German elevator maker ThyssenKrupp along with the office-bearers of the maintenance firm and residents’ body of the housing society, alleging negligence in the death of an elderly woman, officials said today. An FIR has been registered at the local Sector 142 police station under sections 287 (negligent conduct with respect to machinery) and 304A (causing death by negligence) of the Indian Penal Code against seven people, including office bearers of the apartment, the society’s maintenance firm . Owners’ Association (AOA) and Thyssenkrupp.
