Rahul Gandhi’s safe seat in the Congress would have to be found, according to Narendra Modi.
On Saturday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi anticipated that Congress leader Rahul Gandhi will be forced out of his Wayanad parliamentary seat and the party must find him a safe seat nearby.
At a rally in Nanded, Maharashtra, PM Narendra Modi launched a pierced attack on Rahul Gandhi, alleging the latter had been driven from Amethi by BJP leader Smriti Irani.
“Congress-ke shehzade, unhe bhi Wayanad mein sankat dikh raha hai…Jaise Amethi se bhagna pada, aap maan ke chaliye, wayanad bhi chodenge… (The Prince of Congress confronts a threat at Wayanad. He was made to give up Amethi, and believe me, he will have to leave Wayanad as well),” PM Modi warned.
“Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan attacked Congress leaders in a manner that I do not use for them. I am sure Congress will look for another safe seat for its Shahjada once voting in Wayanad is completed,” PM Modi said.
As stated by PM Modi, the nation’s voters favored the BJP-led NDA in the first round of the Lok Sabha elections.
According to him, the coalition partners of the INDIA bloc were competing for twenty-five percent of the Lok Sabha seats. “If this is the situation now, what will they do after the election?” He proceeded.
Congress not yet declared its nominees for Rae Bareli and Amethi.
Smriti Irani overcame Rahul Gandhi in 2019 in the Amethi family stronghold. His mother Sonia Gandhi relocated to the Rajya Sabha and renounced her seat of Rae Bareli earlier this year.
“For the first time, the family will not vote for a Congress candidate in the constituency where they live as there is no party candidate there,” the prime minister noted.
Attacks on PM Modi from Rahul Gandhi
Rahul Gandhi asserted earlier today that PM Modi was in leadership of what he referred to as the “school of corruption.”
“The whole country is being indoctrinated corruption by Narendra Modi. He posted on social platform X, “Where under the subject of ‘Entire Corruption Science,’ he himself is teaching each chapter including ‘donation business’ in detail.”
