Elvish Yadav was taken into custody by Noida Police for five days in relation to a case involving snake poison.

Elvish Yadav, a YouTuber who was recently granted bail by a Noida judge in the snake poison case, has now been charged by the Gurugram Police for employing forbidden snakes in his films. On Saturday, the Gurugram Police arrested Elvish Yadav and singer Rahul Yadav, also known as Fazalpuria. The police move came only days after a judge in Gurugram ordered the police to file a FIR against the social media influencer after animal rights activist Saurabh Gupta sought the court over a video filmed by Elvish Yadav in a Gurugram mall.

Saurabh Gupta collaborates with BJP MP Maneka Gandhi’s People for Animals. He filed a motion in court claiming that Elvish and 50 other people were seen in a viral video employing numerous snakes outlawed by the Wildlife (Protection) Act of 1972. Gupta stated that he filed a complaint with the police last year and met with the Gurugram Commissioner in person, but no action was taken.

Elvish Yadav now faces three cases in Delhi-NCR, two involving rare snakes and one stemming from his viral video of knocking up YouTuber Maxtern. In the other snake case, Elvish Yadav was accused of delivering snake venom to a Noida rave party. According to accounts, Elvish confessed to arranging snake venom for rave events following his detention. That case was also filed by Maneka Gandhi’s PFA, which organized the rave party as a ruse to catch the persons who supply snake venom to similar gatherings.

Aside from these three arrests, Elvish has received other reports about intimidating people.

The footage in question was recorded in Sector 71 of Gurugram’s Earth Iconic Mall last year.
Elvish created a video after being granted bail in a Noida court, in which he discussed the difficult period in his life. “The one week that passed was, without a question, a very horrible period of existence. What to talk about while I was inside (prison). Let’s start the next chapter on a positive note. Thank you to everyone that supported me, regardless of whether they spoke negatively or positively about me. I can only thank everybody. “I am back at work,” he stated in his video.
