Despite his tight schedule and duties, Prime Minister Modi has determined to strictly adhere to all customs. As a result, he’s begun an 11-day anushthan.

There are precise guidelines for the fast preceding the consecration in Hindu scriptures. The prime minister incorporates Brahma Muhurat Jagran, prayers, and a modest diet into his daily routine.

A 1008 Hundi Mahayagya will also be held, with thousands of devotees fed. Tent towns are being built in Ayodhya to house lakhs of worshipers.

According to the Sri Ram Janambhoomi Trust, arrangements will be made for 10,000-15,000 people.

Local governments are also preparing for the expected rise in visitors surrounding the grand event, and are in the midst of establishing strengthened security measures and making logistical arrangements to provide a pleasant and spiritually edifying experience for all guests.
